Jerrad Hofstetter has proven over and over again that he is a winner and it is only a matter of
time until he will be one of the dominate forces to contend with in the PRCA Tie Down Roping.
His wife, Brittany is a talented and competitive Barrel Racer currently making her move up
the ranks of the PWBR. The two travel the Professional Rodeo circuit together entering
rodeos and branding their name not only in the record books but also on the fans of rodeo.
This couple has only been married since May 12, 2007. It seems like they were destined to
make a mark on the rodeo world as a couple. Neither of them was raised in a rodeo family,
but it was their love of horses that has placed them on the path they are on today. They both
were raised showing livestock in 4-H, Jerrad in Athens, Texas, Brittany in Portales, New
Mexico. They traded it in for the love of horses and sport called rodeo.
This charismatic couple seems to float to the top of anything they set out to do but it is actually due to their hard work and dedication. Jerrad and Brittany also acknowledge that their success is the result of a lot of help from others, be it sponsors, trainers, or just an encouraging word. They know the importance of giving back to others and have a desire to see others compete. Jerrad has held several calf roping schools and Brittany conducted several queen clinics throughout the state while she served on the New Mexico Rodeo Council.
Starting in the 2008 rodeo year, Brittany and Jerrad will call Portales their home town. Brittany will complete her last year at Texas Tech through on line courses and will rodeo for Texas Tech for the 2007-2008 school year. Jerrad and Brittany are well respected, liked, and trusted by many. As a couple on their way up in the rankings of the PRCA they are a definite asset to whoever is associated with them.
